Here’s a fun puzzle game for you to play – Happy Glass! Lion Studios presents a fun puzzle-solving game where you need to help Glass regain its smile by pouring some water into it.
Clever Puzzle-Solving Mechanics
One of the best features this game has is its unique gameplay mechanic that involves water physics and intuitive use of pencils. The water in the game is stored in a container, and when you let it pour out, it behaves like real water. It splashes around the stage and interacts pretty much like water to various surfaces – for example, it slides on slopes and collects in basins appropriately.
That said, you have to make sure that the water does not get wasted and get into the glass to make it happy again. You do this by drawing lines across the surfaces that would make the water traverse or funnel towards the glass. You have total freedom to draw different kinds of lines – be it crooked, straight, or angled and curved, it is up to your imagination which line is the best option you need to draw.
This added game mechanic is extremely fun since it makes you think logically or even out of the box to figure out what the best drawing or line you should create to make most if not all, the water pour into the glass safely!
Dynamic and Complex Levels
Another fun element this game has lies in the complexity of its level designs. At first glance, the puzzles seem to be straightforward – you might need to simply draw an angled line that will funnel the water from the spout towards the glass. However, as you progress through the later stages, the surfaces and other obstacles will prove to become head-scratchers, to say the least.
The level designs will test how well you can get creative when it comes to problem-solving. In some levels, you have to fill the glass at a certain depth, and depending on how you fared, you will receive the corresponding number of stars – zero for failing, one star for not filling the glass up to the minimum point, two stars for grazing the minimum point, and three stars for completely filling the glass and thus making it smile!
Get Stars, Get More Levels
Unlocking more levels require you to gain three-stars in previous levels. This makes replaying the earlier stages and completing the subsequent ones have higher stakes. You will have to do some bit of trial and error in some of the levels since they might prove to be too overwhelming. But once you have reached a breakthrough and find out what you need to do, that eureka moment is one of the best feelings ever! However, if you are still stumped on how to solve some of the stages, you can always resort to asking for hints – these will cost you some gold, though, so it is best to hold out until you have exhausted all other options.
